Anson Hammond & K9 Bohdi
Intermountain Health- St. Mary’s (Colorado)
K9 Bohdi has proudly worked alongside his partner and best friend, Anson Hammond, for more than a year at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. Bohdi loves his job at the hospital, where he spends his days visiting medical staff, patients, and families who may need comfort and support.
His favorite people to visit are children, and he always seems to know exactly which rooms they are in. Bohdi has become a tremendous source of comfort for patients, visitors, and grieving families during some of their most difficult moments. Many staff members have shared how much safer and more supported they feel knowing Bohdi and his partner are on duty.
K9 Bohdi holds certifications through HDPK9 and NPCA in handler protection. Although not certified, he loves detection and tracking training.
When Bohdi is off duty, he loves spending time with his family — dad, mom, and the kids. He is often found playing ball, running around the house with the kids or tormenting the neighborhood cats. Bohdi has also built quite a fan base in his neighborhood. He especially enjoys long walks with dad and going on adventures outside.

K9 Sox was a dual purpose but recently turned single purpose German Shepard working at St. Joes Hospital in Denver. Sox is originally from Hungary and has been working with Intermountain since 2025.

Bureau of Land Management
K9 Yote is a 2.5-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd cross trained and certified in suspect apprehension, handler protection, narcotics detection, and article detection. He is partnered with Bureau of Land Management Ranger Love in Colorado.

K9 Amon is a single purpose three year old Belgian Malinois with the Steamboat Springs Police Department, and the first Police Canine for the city of Steamboat.

Jerry & K9 Anti
Intermountain Health- Alta View (Utah)
Jerry started his second career working K9 at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah. Anti is a year and a half old. Anti is a dual-purpose dog and is certified in odor detection for heroin, cocaine, meth, fentanyl, and MDMA. Anti is also certified in patrol.

Odin is an 8 year old Belgian Malinois. Odin has been with Officer Nate Baker since he was 6 weeks old, and works at Craig Police Department. Odin is trained in narcotics detection and patrol.

K9 Te Kā is a female German Shepherd and was born June of 2020. She is the niece of K9 Talu who worked for Fruita Police Department. She is certified in handler protection, muzzle, tracking and human remains detection.

Mike Boyle and Tres are a K9 team working for the North Salt Lake City Police Department in Utah. They have been together since June of 2019. Tres is trained and certified as a narcotics and patrol dog.

Commander Deanie Earthman & K9s

Deanie has been involved with K9 for over 35 years. She worked for Grand Junction Police Department 1987 to 2017, 28 years of her career she was a K9 handler. She worked six K9’s during her career.
