Sergeant Alicia Frantz & K9 Tyr

K9 Tyr is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois from Colombia. He is partnered with Sergeant Alicia Frantz and began working for the Glenwood Springs Police Department in April 2026. K9 Tyr is certified in Narcotics Detection and Patrol.
Sergeant Frantz has been with the Glenwood Springs Police Department since August of 2018. She was paired with K9 Tyr in March of 2026. K9 Tyr came from MakorK9 of West Virginia and is originally from Colombia.
Sergeant Frantz and K9 Tyr certified as in Narcotics and Patrol in April of 2026. K9 Tyr had a successful alert on his very first call on his first day of work which resulted in the seizure of illegal narcotics. Sergeant Frantz and K9 Tyr are excited to serve their community.
K9 Tyr wakes up every morning excited to work but when he gets home he loves to get his belly rubs before bed.

Jerry started his second career working K9 at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah. Anti is a year and a half old. Anti is a dual-purpose dog and is certified in odor detection for heroin, cocaine, meth, fentanyl, and MDMA. Anti is also certified in patrol.
