Sergeant Brenden Andrews & K9 Amon
Steamboat Springs Police Department (Colorado)
Amon is a single purpose three year old Belgian Malinois with the Steamboat Springs Police Department, and the first Police Canine for the city of Steamboat.
Amon is from the Netherlands and was purchased through K2 Solutions. Amon and Sergeant Brenden Andrews attended an in depth Canine Academy in March of 2025. Amon is certified in the detection of the odors of Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamine, and MDMA.
Amon loves his toys and his work, and while off duty, he loves to relax and be outside on walks.
