Mills Police Department (Wyoming)

K9 Archer is an 8-year-old German Shepherd from the Czech Republic. He has been serving the Mills Police Department with Corporal Acord for 4.5 years. He is a dual-purpose dog, certified in tracking, narcotics detection, and patrol.

Garfield County Sheriff’s Office (Colorado)

K9 Aren is a 3-year-old German Shepherd. Tony and K9 Aren have been on the road together for about 2 years. K9 Aren is certified in narcotics detection as well patrol work.

Craig Police Department (Colorado)

Corporal Grant Laehr has been a patrol officer for just over 9 Years, all of that time with the City of Craig. His partner, K9 Bane (Slavic for “Glorious Defender”), is a 2 ½ year old German Shepherd currently trained in illegal drug detection.

Gunnison Police Department (Colorado)

Beno is a German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois cross from Slovakia. Beno just turned three years old on April 20th. Beno is a dual-purpose K9 trained in the following areas: patrol, narcotics, tracking/trailing, and article searches.

Garfield County Sheriff’s Office (Colorado)

Bull is a bundle of energy. He is a 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer. After a successful, although short, career as a bird hunting dog, Bull was selected to become a police K9, and boy does he love it.

Delta County Sheriff’s Office (Colorado)

K9 Jocko and Deputy Savage have been partners since March 2020. At 23 months old, K9 Jocko works for the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office.

Grand County Sheriff’s Office (Colorado)

K9 Milo is a 4-year-old German Shepherd from the Czech Republic. He is dual-purpose patrol and narcotics police K9. Milo is handled by Deputy DJ Elthorp and the two have been together for 3 years at the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.

Routt County Sheriff’s Office (Colorado)

Jake and Murray, formally known as Havoc, met in spring of 2017. After six weeks in a hotel in Denver, the dog now known as Murray, decided to take Jake home to Routt County.

Craig Police Department (Colorado)

Odin is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois. Odin has been with Officer Nate Baker since he was 6 weeks old, and works at Craig Police Department. Odin is trained in narcotics detection and patrol. 

Security at St. Mary’s Hospital (Colorado)

K9 Te Kā is a female German Shepherd and was born June of 2020. She is the niece of K9 Talu who worked for Fruita Police Department. She is certified in handler protection, muzzle, tracking and human remains detection.

North Salt Lake City Police Department (Utah)

Mike Boyle and Tres are a K9 team working for the North Salt Lake City Police Department in Utah. They have been together since June of 2019. Tres is trained and certified as a narcotics and patrol dog.

Security at St. Mary’s Hospital (Colorado)

Deanie has been involved with K9 for over 35 years. She worked for Grand Junction Police Department 1987 to 2017, 28 years of her career she was a K9 handler. She worked six K9’s during her career.

Routt County Sheriff’s Office (Colorado)

Deputy Aaron Clock has been with the Routt County Sheriff’s Office almost 10 years. In August of 2021 Deputy Clock was given the privilege of being the second K9 deputy for the agency.

Rock Springs Police Department (Wyoming)

K9 max and Officer Kolb met each other in the summer of 2017 and have been serving the community of Rock Springs, Wy ever since.  Max is a Belgian Malinois mix who is dual purpose and goes by many names.

Grand County Sheriffs Department (Colorado)

K9 Freya and Deputy Mathis have been paired since summer 2023.

K9 Nico is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois and currently serves as a dual purpose patrol/narcotics police K9 with the Rangely Police Department. K9 Nico and his handler, Officer Hilton began their partnership in July of 2021 as a Narcotics team.

K9 Athena and her handler Rayna Thompson-Watkins have been paired since March 2022. They work with the security team at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction Colorado.

Glenwood Springs Police Department (Colorado) 

GSPD Corporal Gobbo and K9 Reese.  K9 Reese is a male two year old Belgian Malinois with European lineage and was purchased from Makor K9.  K9 Reese is a “dual purpose” K9 trained in Patrol and Narcotic Detection.

Branden has been training and working with K9’s since 2015. (2009-2012 if you count my early search and rescue days). I started working with a kennel importing, training, and selling Police K9’s where I got interested in detection work.

Moose is a German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois cross from the Czech Republic. Chris and Moose have been paired since June 2023 and you can find Moose constantly playing ball or carrying around his stuffies everywhere he goes.

K9 Diesel and Kenzie have been together since November 2021. Diesel is a security K9 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. Diesel is certified in Handler Protection and 3rd Party Protections.

Delta Police Department  (Colorado)

K9 Raico is a 6 year old Belgian Malinois that has currently served 3 years at the Delta Police Department. K9 Raico was assigned to Officer Lane(Henderson) in October of 2021 and is a dual purpose K9 in narcotics, tracking and patrol.
