Deputy Aaron Clock & K9 Winston
Routt County Sheriff’s Office (Colorado)
Deputy Aaron Clock has been with the Routt County Sheriff’s Office almost 13 years. In August of 2021 Deputy Clock was given the privilege of being the second K9 deputy for the agency. His partner K9 Winston was born in 2017 and is a black lab currently trained and certified in illegal drug detection for meth, heroin, cocaine and MDMA (ecstasy).
Winston is also certified in human scent tracking and is currently working on article searches. Deputy Clock had no prior experience as a K9 handler and Winston is his first K9 partner. Winston loves spending time with Deputy Clock, his mom and his family of fur babies at home. Winston loves his down time, but would rather be at work with his dad if given the choice. Winston is currently certified through High Desert Canine Association and National Police Canine Association for narcotics odor detection and human scent tracking.
Over the last several years Winston has helped surrounding agencies as well as the Routt County Sheriff’s Office in seizing thousands of dollars of illegal narcotics, stolen or illegal firearms and drug paraphernalia. Deputy Clock and Winston are super excited to see what the future has in store for them at the Sheriff’s Office.

K9 Te Kā is a female German Shepherd and was born June of 2020. She is the niece of K9 Talu who worked for Fruita Police Department. She is certified in handler protection, muzzle, tracking and human remains detection.

Mike Boyle and Tres are a K9 team working for the North Salt Lake City Police Department in Utah. They have been together since June of 2019. Tres is trained and certified as a narcotics and patrol dog.

Keith Sanders began his career in law enforcement in 2001 as a 911 Dispatcher. He became a certified peace officer in 2003 when he became a deputy with Ouray County Sheriff.
Keith is now working a dual purpose K9, K9 Jynx, for Intermountain Health in St. Mary's Hospital. K9 Jynx is a patrol certified & explosive detection K9.
